registered parishioner. The council fosters growth and the sharing of spiritual gifts and talents, encourages positive relationships among all parish members, and collaborates with other parishes and the wide community. Paul Rogers or Cheryl Wachtel
Due date for nominations is Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 3:30PM.

TRUSTEE ELECTION
In accordance with WI State Statue 187.19 which stipulates that trustees are to be elected "from and by
the congregation," I hereby announce an election to be held the weekend of July 4th/5th. David Grant, trustee-secretary, has completed his present term of office and is willing to serve an additional two-year term. I hereby place his name in nomination. Additional candidates are welcome, but must be nominated in writing by a minimum of ten registered parishioners, be registered practicing Catholic parish members and be at least 25 years old. Nomination forms are available here for anyone interested.

MISSION STATEMENT

We, the members of St. Peter Parish, Slinger, Wisconsin, as a true Christian Community, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, resolve to make our parish a center of spiritual growth and renewal.  We dedicate ourselves to the call of the Mission of the Church by providing Catholic education, formation and moral guidance, based on the Gospel, for all the people of our community.

We accept the challenge to live a Christian life!  We celebrate our relationship with God through Liturgy, Sacraments and prayer.  As a faith-filled community, we promise to be caring and supportive of our brothers and sisters in Christ, who may be hurting spiritually, physically, emotionally or financially.

To foster a just and peaceful society, each member, with his or her talents, time and treasure, will contribute to the good and growth of our entire Parish.  May the Holy Spirit bless our efforts to form a faithful, trusting and loving community!
