Totus Tuus

 
We are excited to be hosting Totus Tuus this summer from June 9th-14th!

What is Totus Tuus?
 
  • Elementary age students (children entering grades 1-6) will meet Monday, June 10th- Friday, June 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Middle and high school age students (youth entering grades 7-12) will meet from 6:30pm p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Sunday, June 9th - Thursday, June 13th.
  • The location for both programs is St. Peter Church, Slinger.
Totus Tuus is a five-day catechetical program for youth entering grades 1-12, similar to “Vacation Bible School." The week is filled with faith, fun, and friendship. There are messy games and crazy skits. A team of college age students will share their energy, enthusiasm, love of the Faith, and commitment to spiritual growth with the children and youth of our parishes. 

Totus Tuus instructs young people in the basic tenets of the Catholic faith to cultivate both a firm intellectual grounding and a solid personal relationship with Christ and demonstrates that one can be a faithful, practicing Catholic and still have a lot of fun!
 
 

Totally Yours
Totus Tuus, a Latin phrase meaning “totally yours,” was the motto of Saint John Paul II. Taken from St. Louis de Montfort’s work, True Devotion to Mary, it signifes our desire to give ourselves entirely to Jesus Christ through the hands of our Blessed Mother Mary. It also expresses our effort to give all that we have to every young person we encounter.

Totus Tuus seeks to inspire in young people a true longing for holiness, a deep desire for daily conversion, and an openness to their vocation by challenging them to give themselves entirely to Jesus Christ through Mary and by continually strengthening their prayer lives in imitation of her.

 
Curriculum
The Totus Tuus program has divided the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church into a six year cycle. Additionally, each summer is dedicated to one of the mysteries of the Rosary. 


In 2024, Totus Tuus will cover:
Theme: The Apostles' Creed
Mysteries: The Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary

  • Elementary Program (children entering grades 1-6): $25 per student
  • Middle and High School Program (youth entering Grades 7-12) $15 per student 

    $60 Family Cap

Elementary School Program

The elementary school program is for children entering grades 1-6 and will meet Monday, June 10th - Friday, June 14th from 9:00am-3:00pm, daily. The cost for the elementary program is $25 per student; $60 family cap.
*Please pack a lunch, including a water bottle for your child every day.
*All participants are asked to donate a snack to share for the week; more information will be given after registration.

Middle and High School Program

The middle and high school program is for youth entering grades 7-12 and will meet Sunday, June 9- Thursday June 13th from 6:30pm - 8:45pm, daily. The cost for the middle and high school program is $15 per youth; $60 family cap.
*All participants are asked to donate a snack to share for the week; more information will be given after registration.

Payment may also be turned in to the St. Peter Formation Office, School Office, or in the offertory during Mass.

Totus Tuus Needs Your Help!

By submitting this form, I understand that reasonable precautions will be taken to safeguard the health and well-being of the participants in Totus Tuus and that I will be notified as soon as possible in the event of an emergency. In the case of sickness or an accident, I authorize and consent the Totus Tuus Team, or other associated volunteers of the Totus Tuus program to obtain medical care from a licensed physician, hospital, or medical clinic for my son/daughter in the event that myself or other legal
guardian(s) cannot be reached. I hereby do release and forever discharge this Diocese, Parish and/or Organization from all manners of actions, claims which I or the child named above shall or may have for any reason, arising during my child’s attendance of the Totus Tuus.
