One of the many things that contributes to the success of a parish is the families that serve as members. The more families get involved with the parish, the better the well-being of the parish. At St. Peter Parish, we encourage families to pray together, learn together, and participate in special events together. Without the involvement of families, we would not have as great of a parish as we do.
Below are the procedures and outcomes of our family program:
Families will learn about the Catholic faith together and strive to live authentic Christian values together in the home.
Classes are held on Sundays Mornings throughout the faith formation year, 10:30 am – 1 pm.
We begin with 10:30 Mass, then move to the Church Hall for a continental breakfast and faith sharing presentation, followed by age/grade specific small group discussions about how to apply the message of the day to our lives.
We finish the morning with a short family group discussion / faith sharing.
